Small Groups
Summer Studies
As you’ve heard, this summer we’re going to be doing co-ed studies instead of our normal small groups. Brian and I are really excited about this and think that this is going to provide a great opportunity not just for teaching on these incredibly important topics, but also for building deeper and more purposeful community and taking advantage of our more intimate size over the summer. We would strongly suggest (only because we can’t require) each of you to pick one of these studies to be a part of. Here are the options:
Studying the Bible
Monday Nights, 8:00pm
Scott and Lara’s Apartment
10740 Woodbine St. #203 90034
Contact:
Reading the Bible is supposed to be a powerful life-changing experience, but most Christians struggle through times when Scripture seems dry. Scott and Lara will be leading a small group on Monday nights that will focus on how to understand the Bible and apply passages to your life so that you find intimacy with God and passion in our worship of Him. This study will be based on the Bible Study Methods material, but will only be looking at the material for the first few weeks, and will spend the rest of the time studying through different passages together and learning how to do so better and better.
God's Mission in Your Life
Tuesday Nights, 7:00pm
1247 Berkeley St. #6 90404
Contact:
Sometimes it seems like the greatest threat to the Christian church isn’t persecution, or false teaching, but boredom. Yet the Bible tells us that living the Christian life is a mission that brings excitement, passion, and focus. Brian and Chrissie will be leading a small group on Tuesday nights that will look at that mission in Scripture and help you practically live it out in your daily life. If you’ve ever desired to see God really use your life, and are willing to take the steps to make that a reality, this is the group for you.
Perspectives Exposure (Ministering to the World)
Wednesday Nights, 7:00pm
646 S. Barrington Ave Apt 207 90049
Contact:

Designs to mobilize God’s people to connect their lives to His Kingdom purposes, this eye-opening study looks at God’s work in the world from fiver perspectives: Biblical Perspective, Historical Perspective, Strategic Perspective, Cultural Perspective, Partnership Perspective. On Wednesday nights Josh and Rochelle will be leading a group through this incredible study that is assured to change your life and your worldview forever.
